How to read official exchange service notices that mention your region

Guides · 2026-10-08

Every few months a screenshot circulates claiming that some exchange is changing what it offers in a particular country. Sometimes the claim is accurate, sometimes it is outdated, and sometimes it is invented to push people towards a scam. Acting on the wrong version can lead to rushed withdrawals, missed deadlines or handing details to impostors. This guide does not describe what any exchange offers in any country, because that changes and belongs in official sources. It explains how to find and read the official notices of the large exchanges and how to turn them into calm, practical steps for your own accounts.

Find the notice at its source

Official notices are published in the announcement section of each exchange's app or website and are usually also sent by email or in-app message to affected users. When you see a claim elsewhere, open the app you already use and look for the announcement yourself. If you cannot find it there, treat the claim with suspicion. Do not follow links from social media posts or forwarded messages, and never enter your login details on a page you reached that way.

Read the scope and dates carefully

A genuine notice normally explains which users are affected, which products or features change, and from which date. Read it fully rather than skimming the headline. Pay attention to whether it applies based on residence, verification details or another criterion, and to any actions the exchange asks users to take before a deadline. If something is unclear, contact official support through the app and quote the title and date of the notice in your question.

Turn it into a short action list

If a notice applies to you, write down the specific steps it asks for and the dates involved, then schedule them in your calendar with some margin. That might mean reviewing open positions, moving funds you hold on the platform, or updating your profile. Avoid acting in a hurry on the day of the deadline, when support queues and network congestion tend to be worse. Keep a copy of the notice text with your records.

Protect yourself from related scams

Service changes attract fraudsters who pretend to offer migration help or special withdrawal channels. Remember that official support will not contact you first through personal messaging accounts, ask for your password or verification codes, or require a transfer to unlock anything. If you receive such a message, ignore it and check your account directly. Telling family members who also use exchanges about genuine notices helps them avoid the same traps.

Risk boundary: Ukraine Crypto Guide

Digital assets are volatile and derivatives can amplify losses. This website has no login, wallet connection, deposit form or customer-support chat. A referral link only records attribution; it does not guarantee access, pricing, rewards, approval or investment results. Availability can differ by residence, legal entity and product, so no regional access is assumed from language or branding alone.
